First time growing! *outdoors*

From this distance it appears to have been nibbled on. Maybe? You are right, that growth pattern in that branch is irregular.
 
I am so glad you didn't invite us RIU. for coffee as I see we would all be getting a half cup each, going by the amount of soil you have in each pot ....! Fill them up to within 1/2 inch of the top ...you do want plants...? and trash those saucers Mj don't like wet feet and is a source of fungus, please clean and tidy the grow area, get it kitchen clean, as clean as you kitchen and use some Neem Oil

outdoors gets funky sometimes. learn to ignore dings and dents. be proactive about bugs, with something mild, so you don't need to nuke them with something harsh. botanical soap and water works well, imo. get bigger pots prepared for one more transplant. fill pots entirely to use the entire potential root-zone. you paid for every cubic inch, use them :)
I dig totes for outdoors. big.

Thanks! and yes I plan on transplanting them once more in bigger pots with more soil! I did not know alot going into this, but I'd love some tips along my journey!

haha, good one! I know I shortly realized that after the first week after some more research! I was planning on transplanting them once more in bigger pots with more soil. Also I am working on where to put my plants, considering I am growing secretively.

I just recently transplanted them with more soil as you can tell! I am still in shocked with the before and after pictures, also I just cleaned the living hell out of my grow area :) Totally didn't even realize how bad my area was until looking at the pictures from before! I removed all the excess dirt, bricks, and weeds! Thanks for the advice! This helped a whole lot, a huuuuuge difference! I am currently working on getting some neem oil!

Oh Yes thats much better...look to this Neem Oil as a great product but messy to use, see it as an oil that sticks to the plant, makes life unbearable to bugs and molds, just avoid using within 2 weeks of harvest but by them the neem is in the plant, and has gone a great job of protecting her.

Time to pot up that small twisted plant, it should grow out of it, next grow dive deep into organics, for some messy fun?

Many of my friends follow the same idea as you with a small private patio, tho after june 22nd the patio may get less and less light, and its always good looking for local and new locations, even if by 2-3 feet per day the shadows grow long
