I’m an outdoor grower and am planning to use coco this time round and have never used it before. What sort of nutrients schedule should I use. Will be an auto.

I use GH 3 part. The feed schedule is by the chart. Using only the micro, grow, bloom, and Cali-Magic.
Example. The first column says, 2ml micro, 1ml grow, 1ml bloom. The allowable ppm range is 200-250. With 200 being the minimum dose and 250 being the max. Using RO water only.
The chart doesn't list Cali-Magic until week 2(Second column). Which is 4ml M, 5ml G, 1ml B, 1.5ml Cali-Magic. Acceptable ppm is between 550-700. So when you switch to column 2. Raise the PPM by 100ppm max a day. Until you reach the recommended ppm range of the 550-700.
Continue on, step by step. Using only the basic 3 part and Cali-Magic.
PPM run off should be no more the 200ppm over the PPM of the fert solution. I currently pour 630ppm(column6). Run off measures 680.

The most important parts of coco to me are
-watering frequency/ amount
-prebuffering/precharging/maybe rinsing correctly (preparation)
-correct nutrient ratio for coco (it uses a tid bit more cal-mag than most mediums I think)
if you water too often or not enough or a combo, you will get fungal gnats. I had this issue this grow and fixed my watering schedule and used nematodes to fix the gnat problem
I also applied some tribus to help with the roots and whatever was happening with rot or whatever

How often do you water? My grow spot is a raised bed with a poly tunnel on top so the soil gets dry pretty fast

I am doing 5 times a day as of now. If I up my light intensity I bet I will have to upp it to 6 or 7
they are big and in 3 gal air pots so they dry out fast which is a factor

So you water your 2 plants with 22L of water a day? Wow that seems loads? Is that just because coco drys out so fast or because the plants drinks more in coco
Why coco outdoors? Won't rain wash away your nutes?

Coco is a type of hydrophobic medium. It doesn't dry too fast because it needs to stay soggy.
Reason for the amount of watering. Is the hydroponic growth that be achieved doing so.

I use raised beds with a poly tunnel over the top so rain can’t get in. Ive just seen great results with coco so wanted to give it ago.
I’m thinking of doing a coco,soil and perlite mix.
Thinknits been said already but coco is hydroponics. You need to feed every watering. Soil obviously contains its own nutrients. I would tend to do one or the other. Mixing them you will be unsure of nutrient levels. Mot saying it won't work... just don't get the point. The canna specific soils are so light anyway your best off with one of them with perlite
