Hey every body, I'm a first time grower. I just put my plants into 12/12 yesterday. I was wondering what I can expect from them. And when should i be able to tell the sex of them. Any reply would be appriciated!!

you gotta be cool with master shake as your avatar LOL
depending upon the strain, you may be able to tell the sex within a few days but probably a few more then that.
keep the light as close as you can. when i used cfls i put them so close i would burn the plants and it never seemed to hurt them and i knew i had then close enough. i use a 600 hps now and can get within a foot of the blub, i go vert with mine. sit back and watch colas fill in or bud sites multiply

I went through your old posts to see the pictures. try to be realistic with your first crop, if you only veg for 2 weeks or a month ,might not get a lot from each plant. Looks like the space is tight so you could try a compact DWC hydro tub next time if you need a bigger yield. if they are close to the light, mist with a spray bottle -away from whatever? bulb you are using. you never really know what you will get unless you keep cloning the same strains, under the same lights, etc...

what can i say, I am pretty kick ass lol! But thanks for the advice!! This will be the third day they have been in 12/12, hoping to see signs of sex soon. Also when should i water them? when the lights are on or off?

Ok thanks alot bro!! Yeah i know this first crop wont be the best, but I'm not planning on it. This first try around is more of a learning experience. I've been thinking about taking some clones, but i will be waiting for the next grow to attempt that. The DWC hydro tub you mentioned, what is that about? I'm curious cause I'd like to get a good yield off my next grow.
