First Time Grower

Greetings from Seattle...I live in an apartment complex...I have a small closet...and a small space of 1'x1'x5'...all I want to do is grow one plant...any suggestions???and what would be a good book for me to get???...thanks everyone.

Hey Seattle! Did you get to go to the Hempfest?

I have many books, and I'll say the newest is the best, Marijuana Horticulture, the indoor/outdoor medical grower's guide, version 5, by Jorge Cervantes. Consider using Compact Florescent lights.

Both are excellent beeing the 1st a more simple guide and the 2nd a more detailed one....Peace and Pot.

any recommendations for lighting in an area this size? I've been looking for some either 12 or 18 inch long flourescent lighting and haven't been able to so far. I did buy a 22w 8in. in diameter circular light, could that work?

Also what temp is a good goal to shoot for?

In that small space you can stand lights on end, and use that circular tube on top, kinda like a phototron. Or better yet is the compact florescents. They come in many shapes and sizes, up to 125w.

Good temp is 78 F
