First time grower

i was wondering if ya'll have any tips on growin indoors. I set up a small grow room in my closet with 2 CFL lights and an ocilating fan i have one plant in there now but i have for more germenating....
 
Thanks for the help guys i feel like i've read everything there is to know about growin... my plant is doing good it's only 3 days old but growin very fast
 
i hear miracle grow soil releases the ferts 2 fast 4 a new born are u talking about plant food or the soil thow ?
 
yes it would work anything will work if its the right balance imo but use 1/4 strength of anything when u do use it

i just squirted 200th post juice on your thread now you will get all your answeres u seek :D
 
Local nursery. Look at the NPK numbers on the package, for flowering u want something higher in P and K like 5-10-10.

For VEG, u want something with more N in it than P and K. I believe u said it was three days old? U don't wann give a plant that young ANY nutes till it's 3-4 weeks old, then u start at 1/4 strength.

It's going to take forever to grow anything decent with such shitty lighting.

Time is money. You're going to spend months on this grow and harvest next to nothing with such a weak light source.

IMO, growing requires a lot of attention from the grower. If you're going to take that much time out of your personal life then make it worth while. I would go BIGGER lights or don't grow at all and just buy some herb.

You could spend months harvesting under an ounce with those wimpy lights or work 1 extra day or work at your job and buy an ounce.
 
I was planning on flowering my plant when it gets about a ft. tall and depending on the sex i will cut cones off it is this a good or bad idea? thnx for the input guys it really helps
