there looking good bro just make sure when you see roots at the bottom to transplant into a larger container and to not feed nutes till about 3 weeks old.

i appreciate it. this is my second week of growing right now. so we can def compare our plants. my plants arent any special strain its jus out of some weed i have recently smoked. so its ah bag seed. but get back at me.

Mine are all around the same size too. If you have good soil, than your plants don't need any nutrients for the first 2-3 weeks. If you want you can give them a 1/4 strength nutrient just to be safe, or around half strength after 2 weeks. Personally i gave my plants some Worm Casting compost tea and some B-1 transplant solution, just for a little kick start. As for the weeks to come, you're going to want some bigger pots if they are outdoors, a 15+ gallon would be ideal, but a 5 gal. will work too. If you have money to invest in everything, Get a decent soil mix like 1/2 compost, 1/4 vermiculite, 1/4 perlite or 1/2 potting soil, 1/4 vermiculite, 1/4 perlite. And for nutrients, you can get any sort of base nutrients, organics will make your weed taste the best. Botanicare Pro grow and pro bloom are good for starters as they are cheap and easy to use, and you can't over feed with them. I am pretty noob myself but if you need some advice I can probably help, I have learned a fair amount since last season

see i dont know exactly where to get all this stuff. but i am jus using regular pottin soil at the moment an usin the bottom of a 2 liter bottle for starter pots. but when they get bigger im going to have to transplant them to 5 gal buckets. i jus need to know what kind of soil would you recommend me gettin when i transplant them. i was jus gonna put em in the ground an let mother nature take its course but i want some decent quality bud an i know it want happen like that if i jus put em in the ground. jus need some tips on what soil is best an food? appreciate it

the ground sounds good dude, as long as the soil is loose enough, that would work fine. If you plan on adding your own soil mixture that will probably work the best. Buy some decent bag soil or compost, and mix in 1/4 perlite and 1/4 vermiculite or something around that amount. Personally i couldnt even crack the ground at my spot so I'm gonna buy some 15 gallon smart pots for like 10 bucks each. I've heard these are the best and provide the most air for your roots, but the ground will work okay too, i recommend digging a 2 cu. foot hole and filling it with 10-15 gallons of soil. As for nutrients you can use any sort of base nutrients, organics will make your weed taste the best. I am using Flora Nova this year, and will probably be getting some Earth Juice organics. If you have money you'll want to buy some mycorrhiaze, molasses, maybe some big bud, bud candy and what ever else you would like. Here is my line up collaige.jpg

i really dont have any money at tha moment. i need cheap stuff or stuff i can get my hands on. do you think if i used 1/4 perlite and 1/4 vermiculite an 1/2 potting soil would that be ah good mixture? would i need any ferts? an one more question if i use this mixture can i jus water it an it stay healthy an do good?

that would work fine, you will have to have nutrients at some point to produce anything decent tho. I guess if you don't have any money, something free such as miracle grow or any other fertilizers lying around will work okay, I always says its best to start off with some money when growing so you can at least grow something decent. Egg shells, molasses are pretty much free and will add some nutrients, oh and holy shit i almost forgot. You can use your own urine. There is a huge thread on here about how people use urine and all these experiments and shit that show urine is an extremely effective fertilizer, I've saved over a gallon personally, not sure If i will use it, but it contains about 12 percent nitrogen, and smaller amounts of phosphorus and potassium as well as plenty of trace elements. Use about 1 cup per gallon of water, or just pee right into the container and it should be enough. Thats got to be your best bet for saving skrilla.

if i just use regular potting soil will that be alright? an would miracle grow all purpose plant food work for em? an use that an jus water em. how do you think that would work out?

alright i will try that out around week 3. i jus dont wanna be spendin out alot of money an they end up bein male plants i would be upset. lol but i will use that all purpose plant food during veg an when flowering starts ima have to use ah blooming fert.

i thought if you use a fertilizer with too many neuts on seedlings it would burn them cause of too hiogh nitrogen levels? correct me if wrong i'm a noob too

i have been told that you can use ferts when they are 3 weeks old cause they are strong enough to with stand it but you only use 1/2 strength an gradually make your way up to full strength. cause it will burn em up if you jus start out usin full strength. i haven't used any yet its only my first week going on the second week so i cant use em.

if i go out to lowes an get perlite an peat moss an regular pottin soil would that be a good mixture of soil to use? will this make my soil acidic an if so can i use lime to solve the acidic problem?
