Hi this is my first grow ever, i got a clone from a friend and thought i would give it a go. shes 3 and half months and about 2 weeks into 12/12. a friend told me i need to get bloom b to help with flowering. the bottom leaves are not getting enough light and many leafs have withered or fallen off, im wondering if i should cut them off? are they just wasting energy that could be going to the flowers? I was also wondering if she is too skinny im growing with 2 100w cfls. any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. thanks allIMG_0360.jpgIMG_0349.jpgIMG_0364.jpgIMG_0359.jpg

Hey, Ivory! She looks healthy, any reason you didn't top her? She'd have probably turn out shorter and a LOT bushier, probably with more yield in the end. One thing I notice is that the cardboard enclosure in which she's growing isn't reflecting the available light back to her, you should line the cardboard with panda film or mylar. That alone should help with the yield, and if you could put a supplemental cfl or two near the bottom, she should fill in a little more. Good luck!

P.S. I wouldn't take off any more fan leaves (she needs the fan leaves for energy to make the buds), the ones that don't get enough light will just wither and fall off naturally...

She's looking a little lanky, but seeing as it's your first attempt and you managed not to kill her, congratulations. However, with such a tall plant and limited lumen, you're not likely going to get a great yield. Florescent lighting doesn't have the intensity to provide ample light for the lower portions of the plant, however, I would refrain from cutting anything off of the plant at this point in its development. Get some additional side lighting if possible to help develop the lower buds. If you insist on using florescent bulbs, I would suggest a shorter vegetation period on your next grow and cut away some of the lower sections before you induce flowering to prevent shocking the plant.
