First Time Grower - Needing someone to hold my hand :-)

OK, so I have decided that I want to grow for my first time and eventually make a little income out of it too. I have purchased a LED light from dormgrow.com as I have heard good things about them, next light I'm getting is the Pro Gro 550 or X5 for sure. Firstly I have to say that I am not extremely rich at all, BUT I want to rather spend some cash and get a good setup going and then once I make some money, to increase my grow. At the moment I have a Dormgrow G8-LED 240W light (power draw 160W) although they say it is an equivalent to a 400W HPS, I believe its unlikely. I also have a spare room so space is not a problem either. I would love to grow bubbleponics, its easy to maintain and relatively easy to setup. First I thought about starting with a DWC setup and then expanding. I have some questions for all you who have gone before me. I would love to grow about 6 plants so my veg time is less (quicker turnaround) and the light can penetrate through the plant canopies too, I want to keep my plants short. Do you think this is a good idea? Preferably I want short grow cycles and I want another Veg room with a Mother so I can have a perpetual cycle. What size should I make my growroom with the size light I have? Also is having 6 DWC buckets ideal? And would I have to make them recirculating? I am a complete novice and have no idea what I am doing, so ANY advice would be so much appreciated. Thank you in advance for taking the time to help another clueless grower. DWC is a good way to go but can become problematic because it is susceptible to root rot. That is the reason I have only one in dwc because I lost a few to pythium root rot. The one I have going seems ok, but to be honest, my hempy bucket girls seem to be going much better (for me anyway), although I can't comment on yield yet.

Thanks for your reply LetsGetCritical, much appreciated. I am growing with LED which keeps the temperature down 9hopefully helping with that). Im pretty set on DWC unless Its not advisable to grow more than 6 plants. Im quite keen on an active system. But those hempy buckets seem cool. Keep us posted on your harvest, keen to see what those hempies can do.

no worries Shaman, yes DWC is great if you can keep the temp res low, best of luck my friend!
