First time grower Need help

Ok, so I have little baby plants all good and healthy. My main concern is the nutrient kit I was given from a local Hydroponic store. Its called "Botanicare CNS17 Starter Kit" I have no idea how to use it. Like which of the liquids goes first, how much water I need to give them, ect... Help would be greatly appreciated!

This is what my plants look like now.

Also, ignore the names on the cups. My brother and I thought it would be fun to give them all names as sort of a "Plants have Personalities" type thing.

They are a little stretched, lower your lights, also I don't think you should use clear cups, roots don't like lights. and yes, no nutes yet.

Yeah, totally forgot about that. Roots are now covered, and I moved the plants closer to the light. It wont affect them that much if they are a little stretchy will it? Hopefully not, but yep, now they are closer, a lot closer. Also, they aren't nothing fancy just some reggys and mids, but what is the average growth time of those types? Am I looking at a month and a couple weeks? Two months to 3 months?

If you're thinking you will be harvesting in 3 months you're sadly mistaken, indicas take as long as 8 weeks, sativas 10 to 12 weeks to flower. You can veg as long or short as you want.

Update: Its been about a month and a half now and here's what I got.

I'm really getting close to my kick out date, and I'm wondering should I start flowering these things? Also, how long will that take? How should I go about doing it? Any tips?

Thanks,

some of those plants look like they need some N (or veg food). you can tell if the lowest leaves start yellowing...thats generally a goodd sign you need veg nutes...just for future reference.

how soon do you need to be out? once you see the 1st pistil (7-14 days after 12/12 mattering on the strain and how long they been in veg) its gonna be anywhere from 7-14 weeks mattering on if they are the genetics.

if this is bagseed its a toss up. they could be anything.

also you wanna try and keep your canopy as even as possible which may mean tying down your tallest plants to make them more even with the shorter ones. do this b4 flowering (you cant tie them down during flower...or shouldnt neways)

how do you go about getting your plants to sex? (or bloom?) if thats your question the answer is simple...

reduce ur light to being on for 12 hours and off for 12 hours. after 7-14 days you'll see pistils or "hairs".

important tip to consider: during 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness its EXTREMELY important to make sure its 100% dark (or as close as possible) for the full 12 hrs. no leaks of light! if there are light leaks it could cause stretching...induce hermies...or if light leaks later in flowering you could send the plant back into veg! so be careful and check for light leaks.
