First time grower issue

Im going into my third week after purchasing the HtG Mother Keeper Complete Grow Tent System. I am using two 10000K AgroMax 4ft T5 FINISHER Bulbs and two 5400K AgroMax 4ft T5 Super Veg Bulbs and so far my plants look pretty good. I checked it out today and saw acouple nats in my grow box. Is this anything to worry about? and should i do anything else to my box such as different lights etc.

also what is a good fertilizer to use?

Do you mean knats? the lil flying bastards? If so you need to get rid of those or you're going to run into all kind's of problem.

Your tent is fine if your just using it for mothers. I wouldn't grow anything huge in it. T5's are fine for vegging and flower if you have enough watts/lumens. Pictures would help out a lot.

There are a lot of good nutes out there.

yes those god damn Knats lol. I will upload some pictures of my set up. I put the seeds in soil on january 4th in clear yogurt size cups. Waited to see the roots at the bottom of the cup than transferred into 3 gallon pots. I water them every 2-3 days depending on if the soil is moist or not. I am using miracle grow organic for my first grow. I also plan on doing a full flush at the end of this week.

What should i do for the knat issue?

Gnats can be an issue if you let them get out of control. To get rid of them, you should put sand on top of your soil, a good layer should do, for the gnats live in the soil. They wont be able to reproduce or feed if you cut off their supply.

gnats and their eggs can be suffocated by covering the top layer of your earth with sand.

ive also killed bugs in house plants with 2 parts water, 1 part white vinegar and a drop or two of dish soap.

did you get the bugs from scotts/mircale gro soil?

I once put one of those sticky fly tape thingees in my tent and it helped alot.

This is what my plants look like at 2 weeks 3 days old. I had four going but one didnt sprout properly and had to trash is so know i have 3. sad i know. I have them on a 20 hour light cycle and feel there looking good other than that Gnat problem, which tonight i didnt see anything. Im still looking for a good fertilizer, any ideas?
