Ok so my grow box is 3ftx3ftx8ft. It is outside in my shed in canada. I maDE It out of wood I got for free from the cabinet factory up the road.
The interior is lined with mylar christmas wrapping paper (about 10 bux). Ive got a 400w mh(free) over top of my now 35 day old plant.
Temps inside the shed reach nearly -30*C but with a small space heater and the heat of the hid light, temps inside the growbox are steady at about 23-28*C.
Im using organic potting soil from the local co-op about 8 bux for a bag in a 5 gallon bucket. So far no nutrients or ph'd water.
I just make sure to allow the water to sit for atleast 24hrs... will be investing in a ph test kit around $15.
So far I have had very bad luck with this plant. At 1.5 weeks old the majority of the leaves were burnt to a crisp but it recoverd nicely. about 5 days after the burning I topped at the 4th node. at 27 days into veg temps dropped below 14*C so I turned up the heater raising temps to nearly 100*C which caused extreme heatstroke. This was about 5 days ago, the plant has recovered yet again and looks batterd but not broken.
here are some pics of constrution, my shed, outside my shed, plant at a couple of sizes and the last ones were taken yesterday.
Please lemme know what you think or If you have any questions I would be happy to answer...
