Hello everyone, first post here so whats up all,
I have a small box about 15.5"x18"x22" (inches) and I have a couple questions about using such a small box..

1. Is this to small? (don't really want anything bigger)

2. What are good seeds to buy for such a small area?

3. I plan to get like 4 23W CFLS for this little box, is there something better?

4. What can I expect to yeild from such a small space. maybe 1 or 2 plants max.

I have the box lined(pretty well) with tin foil, heres a pic. Thats a lighter in the middle for size comparism. Sorry its so crappy phone cam.

1. Are you planning on flowering in there?
2. indica strain
3. You can get light adaptors that break into a V shape they have two light sections on one adapater, so you can line the top and side with cfls.
If you put like 6 instead of 4 in there it will make a big diff. You just need a fan in there to help cool it down.
4. Take the foil off, throw on some primer and then spray paint it with flat white spray paint, it'll work better. Foil can burn plants

Thanks for the reply, I plan on flowering in the small box yes. I will get 6 lights instead of 4. I have the foil on cuz it has a swinging door with a glass front ( cover'd and lined with foil)

5. Does it matter if the box is air tight, I plan on using 2 computer fans. ( top and at the bottom)

He told you to take the foil off because foil does not reflect light only heat

Paint it white or put emergency blanket in there, or even BETTER some mylar.

start flowering them at about 6-8 inches tall and they should be alright inthere if you get some indica

good idea on the ilghts and the two fans will be fine

foil refelects more heat than light but it does reflect some light. White paint just does it a lot better. My grow box is made of wood and has a door as well.

air tight isnt that important, but try and make sure that not too much light escapes. Tape up corners or light leaks

Good luck!
