Hey guys and gals, I am a first time grower and I just got my General Hydroponics Floranova Grow and Bloom nutes. The directions for mixing are pretty easy and basic, but what i really want to know is when to use it. Do i use it when i water my plants, in between watering, or what? I would greatly appreciate the help and input. thanks in advance.

If using a good complete soil i dont feed in veg unless i see a deficiency. Usually the first to appear is nitrogen def which begins only on the lowest leaves and works its way up the plant eventually causing the whole plant to lighten in color and starts as overall yellowing of the leaf. I spot the early signs on the first couple leaves and thats usually when i start giving veg feed and then feed every third water. I stick to veg feed until im deep enough into flower to see bud development and then switch to bloom.

Dont worry too much about what i do. Just try to learn the basics and youll find what works if you trust yourself a bit and see when you make a mistake.

Looks like too much nutes and overwatering. Have you been feeding? If so stop. Your soil doesnt seem to have enough perlite imo. Having added some wouldve helped prevent overwatering. Those plants are also small for those pots. Smaller pots would help them dry out faster. What kind of soil is that?

Always feel at least an inch or two down in the soil waiting for it to feel dry before watering

Havent been feeding them any nutes. Can i transplant into smaller pots and mix some perlite with the soil? Im using just natural organic soil.

ok. they are in smaller pots with soil mixed with perlite. how would i use these nutes tho? water them with the nutes when they need watered?

If you needed to use them theres probably directions on the bottle for how much to mix per gallon. Id start with half whatever that says.

That being said i think your plants are struggling with a soil thats too hot for them. Too much fertilizer already. Organic or not
