Hi guys,
First post and I have a few questions. I have purchased a Euro Air Cooled Hood from HTG and I also got an Inline fan for exhaust. I am running into a snag though. I am getting a lot of mixed opinions or ideas from what I am reading on multiple forums and am looking for the best way to run my fan and my hood.
Note :: There are no plants in the grow room currently, I am running all my test runs WAY BEFORE I even intend on throwing some ladies in there!
Enviroment information: Typical room temperature is 81-85 degrees F during the day and about 76-80 at night time. I am waiting to pick the correct AC unit for my room.
Grow Tent: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...94563&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_4406wt_1057
Fan: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390119540989&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Hood Fixture: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...5909&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_17388wt_1228
Currently I have my Ducting running through one of the side ducting holes into my hood(the side with the light fixture on it), with ducting running through the other 6'' hole on the hood(side with the open 6'' hole) to my inline fan with the rest of the ducting running through a top 6'' hole out of tent then out the window(it will be moved to run the ducting to the attic once I clear out the room I intend on using).
Ducting>Hood>Ducting>Fan>Ducting>Window(Replace with attic for future reference) would be the direction of airflow. Pulling air from outside the tent, through my hood, then out the window. With passive intakes open at the bottom. Is this correct or should I be using my fan at the top of the tent literally ventilating all of the (seemingly hot) air in the tent out the window. Side note:: The duct holes at the top of the tent are also open allowing hot air to escape. I am doing this all for the first time with no one in IRL to turn to(that I trust anyway) and feel like I am missing something.
Also, how much should I expect the temperature to rise from base room temperature underneath the light for my ladies if I am running my fan correctly? I am noticing an increase that varies but I am not sure how to scale any normality of it all.
Sorry if the answer is something obvious and thank you in advance for your help.
Be kind haha.
Jiggity

EDIT :: At first thought this seemed like the correct place to put my thread but now maybe I see it may have gone in the forum two forums down or so. I apologize and if a moderator could move this, if it's in the wrong place, I'd greatly appreciate it
