First time grow.

Hi, I got some random seeds and germinated them in damp paper towels. Nearly all of the seeds popped. I planted them in soil yesterday. I do not have a grow system in place and would actually just like to see if they will grow in my windows. Has anyone ever grown plants like this with any success? I grew one plant in my kitchen window during the winter many years ago with a yield of about 2 ounces of pretty good bud. I didn't provide it with any fertilizer or anything. I just grew it in potting soil with tap water. I am curious as to whether one could get any viable bud without a grow system in place.

ok dont over complicate it. its a plant. just water will make it grow. i do not think u will get enugh light of the proper intensity to make anything but regs. also if a cop sees it he can get a search warrent to come in ur hoome and take it. if anything is in plain veiw he can act. or if he smells it he can act upon it.
