Hey guys, so I came into this pretty blind. I have a plant growing pretty good. Its about 3 weeks and about 6 inches, "well I guess its good?" The lower leaves are browning and dying. I don't have any ferts on it yet. How can I tell if its too much water or too little water? And when should I start using ferts and how much? Thanks

PICS?

The best suggestion I can offer is to read, study, plan and act. There is tons of great info on RIU and great peeps to help. In the newbie central forum there is a sticky called grow videos. It contains hours of great how-to videos for first timers from master growers.

Starting nutes is going to depend on a lot of factors such as medium, container size, additives, ph, type of nutes etc. So more info is neeed to give you a decent answer on when too start.

the cart before the horse, mon. this will be your learning plant. just remember......they're not "babies." they are plants and they want to grow. less is more.
