Hello everyone! This is my first grow attempt ever and i decide to get the aerogarden Pro 200 because of it small size. This is my setup

1. aerogarden default lights
2. Miracle grow for nutes
2. 2-45 gallon tube from target
3. 2 medium size fans
4. Temp. average is about 80 with 40% humidity
5. 18/6 light
6. Ph testing kit

I'm about 8 days into it and im growing 2 snow whites...not sure if they are the best for the aerogarden but i had my GF pick them out for me from Nirvana.....both plants are about 1 to 2 inches tall and looking good.

Im am really worried about the flowering stage though becuase i dont know much about ventalation and i live in a apt. complex and need to hide the smell...

Any help would be great since its my first time i'm not exspecting much from my first time.

got any pics? you might want to start flowering like right now...if i remember correctly the aerogarden is only like a foot tall so good luck fitting a plant in there if you veg it too long.

I would cover the other holes because I heard it is bad for them and involves something rotting but most likely the roots rot.

hi mebhcc

i'm using an aerogarden, the short one tho, so i'm interested in how you get on. my seedling are only a couple of days old, so they are just poking out.

there are a number of homemade filters on this site but have a look at my journal to see how i am tackling the problem.

all the best.

You may want to transfer those if you want to get your Flowers worth and do it before the roots get any bigger or else you will break them when u move it out. the aerogarden cant support the roots and you will be refilling it everyday. Check out my first grow with my aerogarden on this Thread and u can also see how easy it is to build a larger version of your aerogarden-
