As the title says, I'm giving growing a shot for the first time. I'm a regular smoker and ran across a few seeds [a few days apart] from this killer bud called 'Great White'. I don't expect a great yield; it's purely experimental.
Here's my setup:
2x 120v / 20w 3' fluorescent lights
Miracle Gro moisture control topsoil (.14/.07/.21) pic attached
Miracle Gro plant food (24/8/16) pic attached
3 clay pots
24 hr timer
distilled water
soil ph / nPk tests
I started them out in a moist paper towel, then planted them in a little plastic cup on 6/19 filled with topsoil that was in a planter outside.
They shot out of the soil quickly and grew somewhat rapidly at first, then they seemed to stop. So I went out and bought the topsoil, plant food, pots, and soil tests - I figured it was probably a lack of nutrients in the soil that stunted their growth.
I transplanted them to the topsoil early afternoon yesterday. I have them on a timer set on 22/2. Soil pH is about neutral. The pictures are from today.
If any experienced growers are reading this, look things over. Any suggestions would be great!
