The plant is about a week and a half old. When it was a week old I transplanted it into a bigger pot because, it was getting big for the cup and the base of the stem was very weak and couldn't support the plant so I put the weak spot under the soil when I transplanted. For the next two days after the transplant it was doing fine it was healthy and green. But then on the third day I noticed that the top and middle leaves were drooping and the bottom leaves were drooping and turning tannish/brown all over. The next day the bottom leaves were completely brownish/tan and shriveled up and the middle leaves are still drooping and turning brownish/tan at the tips but the top leaves are looking healthy. I'm using some old soil from some plant thats been sitting outside my house for who knows how long but I mixed some cow dung with it. I think it might be a nutrient deficiency or heat stress because, I felt my soil and it feels like its 140 degrees or more but it's still being kept moist. Please reply on what the problem might be thanks.

i am in no ways trying to give you any bad advice here-------

but chop it down and start over- after doing a hell of a lot of reading of course- and if you dont like to read watch some videos, free on youtube of course- what was the ph of this ancient soil you used? was it moldy? what plant was grown in it before your little seedling?

what are the temps where your at, what was the ph of your water, how often did you water?????? so many questions need to be answered on your end before anyone here can even remotely help you out- read some books on botany, does not even have to be about mj, just a get a decent backround on keeping plants alive before you try out the next grow...

just my two cents

i would love to see this plant grow up to be a gorgeous old lady and give you the beautiful flowers your after but i just dont think this little seedling has any hope......

again just my two cents

If the soil temp really is near 140 deg, then that's def too hot. Move it to a cooler place and pray that it recovers.

Don't know how much "cow dung" you added to the soil, but that could be a problem, too....it's easy to burn a young plant like that with too high concentrations of nutes.

Not sure this plant can recover under these conditions...but there are some things you can try. Depends on how attached you are to this one...as opposed to just starting over.

I agree with you im gonna start a new plant and do some more research but im gonna leave this one alive just in case it pulls through. Thanks for replying
