I was wondering if i could build a blackout cover to start inducing the flowering process?

You could thats what im bout to do cuz i have plants indoors that are flowering! But i want them to get the real sun raays so i can get a big yeild! so im going to move them outside but where i am its still the long days of summer 14hours of light now so il have to make i flowering sheild too. How are you ginna make urs maybe we could help each other out?

Im not exactly sure of how to do it, considering this is my first time growing. Do you know if it has to be complete black, or if it can receive light indirectly?

yes it has to be complenty dark if you want them to force flower then they have to have mo more than 12 hours of light it they will flower right now theres 14 hours of light just cover them with black big trash back everday arounf 6pm then when it gets dark take the trash bag off and repeat daily!

Thats pretty much what I was thinking, I have already built a frame around the plants, with the back and sides permanently covered, so i just have to cover the top and front

yes im moving my plants outside 2nite and everyday at 6pm i will put black trashbagover them then take it off at darkthat just shortens the light periof becuse MJ will only flower if the light on 12hours or less and it will flower but it has to get atlest 8 hr of light a day

Mine are in pots its easier just to put a trashbag on them till dark then take it off at dark if i bring them in them everynight then i got to set a alarm clock to wake my lazy ass up eveyday morning to put them out! do you get what im saying??

8hours minimun put them on a 11hr on 13 off perod then when they sex you want to see little whites pistals and you see balls on it rip it up thats a male!!! the trast bag thing didnt work for mine im putting a trash can over my 2 budding plants!!! by the way my default pic ir the plant im talking about moving outside lol!!!

i hope your nabors dont care your growing because your plants might get taller than the fence maybe tho!!

They were planted April 1st, about 1 " tall seedlings, so they are a little over 2 months now.
