First time grow...newbie flush question

Hi guys! Im growing for the first time and just actually flushed for the first time of my grow. I used 3 gallon pots with fox farm/perlite grow medium 70/30 mixture and fox farm nutes. My nutes are 6.5 ph going into the plants and I flushed the soil mixture today with about 3-5 gallons of tap water and tested the water coming out at the end of the flush...7.05 ph. The water used for flush is tap water at my house and is 7.85 ph. Is this okay to just keep on trucking or do I need to bring the soil back down to the 6.3-6.8 range? and if so, what is the best way to go about doing this? Thanks in advance. BTW 2 Big Bud and 2 Mazar x Afghan...heres a pic of one of the BB.

First of all there was no need to flush is my guess.

They should be fine. Get a real ph tester for soil.

how often should I be flushing when using soil as grow medium? Ive got a hannah ph tester btw...i tried using the drops and comparing the outcome to the colors on the chart and decided thats bogus.

Technically you donot ever have to. I flush mine before flowering and right before they finish. There are times when 1 has to more if its needed obviously. When things are going good there is no reason to flush. I do it right before flowering just to rinse the roots of any salt build up.
