any help would be great i have a 4' grow room. i switched from cfl to hps a week ago. to start flowing i only have about 8" tell my hps light hits the ceiling and im just now starting to get some white hairs nothing big yet. the plants are casey jones "sativa"

You could always do some light tying down so the grow like / instead of | ya know? Might be your only option right now. Unless you want to top them ;)

tie a string to the plant and pull it downwards and secure the other end somewhere on the floor. this helps light hit the inner plant as well as give you more vertical room

what is supercrop
It's when you pinch the plant hard enough to break the outside of the branch without breaking the tube that runs inside the branch. This will give you a very sharp break in the plant but when it heals it forms a "knuckle" that is very strong.

I usually do it to my plants the day before I water. You don't want a lot of water in the stem since it makes the inside tube susceptible to bursting.

i have been bending them and tieing down since they where about 3" tall now the main stock does a loop around the bottom of the pot" i have been tieing all the other branckes down as well. they are just really wide and thick like a bush. now that im flowering will they slow down.

you prob shouldent have went with a sativa with 4' of room, but sinse thats not constructive your best bet is l.s.t

im screwed im out of room

isnt bending the same thing as supercrop
Basically the difference is that supercropping has a very sharp bend to the stem instead of the gentle bend you get with LST.

A stem has an tube that's runs through the middle of it carrying water. You want to break the outside of the stem while leaving the tube in the middle undamaged.

Do it right before you're next watering. If the stems are swollen with water you increase the chance of the tube inside bursting.

they look great just let them go. let them flower and enjoy watching grow. I would only bend down any part that gets close to the light. other than that you did a great job growing now enjoy the fruits of your labor
