Hey in about 2 weeks or so with growing tent just under a meter wide deep and 1.6 high... 6 in exhaust fan (ducted out man hole with fan controller at "max) 250w mh hid(on 24/7 about 6 inches as close as possible pretty much trying 2 keep around 22-25 degrees small xbox fan for air in take sucking air from in room small fan blowing above the planter under the light.. here are some pictures.. just a little concerned been buying bottled water 2 feed plants don't have Ph tester and at start i feed a couple days with small dutch master Veg solution ( i know it was 2 early to do so, now). problem I'm having is my leaves are looking bit yellowish but healthy i did have low humidity like 20-30% so i boiled kettle in tent till reached 50%... just concerned i'm doing something wrong cus my leaves are going very yellow could this be a PH problem or because i used solution 2 early i some how locking out the nutrients from the roots? Been watering once everyday cus my exhaust up full humidity normally drops too 20-35% and soil drys up quickly plants in little plastic cups. soil is potting soil with some Perlite temps stay around 22-29 drops a little lower at night. Any pointers help info so i make this happen right would be grateful thx! please post your thought opinions and pointers

don't feed.........you'll kill them. wait until you say to yourself....."wow, those little fuckers are really startin' to grow." then, support that growth with nutes. imo

cheers mate do they look all right? should i be watering with just water everyday i always wait till the soil goes very dry and normally water once a day stick finger in soil and it's dry whenever i water only reason water so much peralite in soil and small plastic cups seem 2 fully dry with in 24 hours... i'm trying my best with a broken hand lol 15 years of chasing just want 2 stop "chasing" :)

use bigger containers if they are drinking those dry. jamming your finger into those little rootballs all the time, will hurt their structure; water by weight.

i was using plastic cups so they formed a good solid root structure to move up-to the next size i ain't sure it's the plant that drinking it dry sure a lot is 2 to do with my exhaust fan inline fan i have a fan controller but i just run it on full speed humidity drops very low why i boiled kettle in their my fan leaves where starting to curl to the soil and I'm guessing they where drying out.. what i think is happening to the soil.. which i understand if nothing to drink will shunt it's growth.. just very not sure what speed to set my exhaust fan @. i would upgrade pot size like you mentioned but i believe the root system hasn't formed around the cup yet.. dont get me wrong i listen and take everything you say into consideration

if roots are not protruding yet, you're okay. cannabis likes to drink to excess, dry out, and then do it again. i was much the same in my youth.
i put a stack of clay pots in corner of my box, and place a really wet towel in the top pot. re-wet as needed. that bumped my RH about 10%. your can mist leaves, with lights backed way up, once a day, to help hydrate leaves also. a humidifier if need be..........

cool cheers brother i did the wet towel bumped it like you said but we have a kettle that boils @ 100 bumps the humidity up-to 50% should i turn my exhaust fan down?? i was thinking along the lines of a tub of water and a little water heater thrown in or a humidifier i think I'll start turning my exhaust down cus my exhaust is a shit load more stronger n pushing a lot more air out the is coming in... but i only have one big fan and man hole above thought my best option would be 2 duct stale air out then have cold coming in "than" with no exhaust.. sorry edit hand broken lol hard 2 maintain crop trust me ha ha

the RH of the surrounding room buffers the RH of the tent. a humidifier is your best bet. the kettle causes wide temp swings, i would imagine. i wouldn't jeopardize air flow to accommodate RH. make sure you're turning over the air in tent. i've been as low as 25%rh and been okay. lower than that i add the pots with the towel.

arhh okay your saying because I'm sucking intake from walk in robe that's the RH and i could set a few wet towels outside the tent in the room that it's in-taking air from to steadily increase my RH in tent. my intake is very weak it's a dual xbox fan ripped from inside and hooked upto an AC adapter i should buy a humidifier set it outside the tent good thinking :) just worried my little xbox fan wont pull enough air in i have a few flaps on side of tent. really need a mini inline fan but budget is tight. it's only a worry cus seen the leaves dimming too soil.. causing stress i imagine stunting growth.. with such a weak intake fan should i turn down the exhaust or leave it cranked hoping 2 pull air in thru neutral suction compression?
