First Time Grow, CFL

Hi guys,

I have a grow journal posted in the grow journal section but had a couple of specific questions. I have attached the pictures of my grow on this page thus far for easy access.

Here are my questions.

1. Has anyone had any luck with Orange Bud? It is a 45% Sativa 55% Indica.

2. Do my seedlings look stretched?

3. Overall, do they seem healthy?

4. Any other criticisms or comments on the grow would be greatly appreciated.

Today is 10 days from the day I started germing them, so how old would that make them?

They are 10 days old! As long as that is the day they sprouted from! They look pretty good!

What's the meter measuring? The soil looks dry, so it can't be ph... and it's facing the wrong way to measure the light (unless you're measuring your camera flash, lol). I have that same meter, and I'm fairly certain just leaving it in the dirt all the time like that will screw it up.

Seedlings look fine. Maybe a little smallish for 10 days, but that's to be expected with CFLs.

They look fine. I can't tell from the pic, do you have a fan nearby? It will help the little stems grow strong. I would also reccomend more light. Off to a good start though! :peace:

The meter is measuring moisture. I just put it in to show the moisture content being at around the dry to moist area. It also measures light and Ph. I do have a fan right behind the me as I was taking the pics, I have had it on them since they started sprouting.

Next questions. When should I start them on nutrients? I have read a lot of answers from 2-3 weeks to "wait until the round leaves fall off".

Wait until they are at least three weeks old before giving them nutes. As it happens - that's around the time those "little rounded leaves" will fall off, as well. :peace:

yea wait least 21 days then give it nutes. and o start with like 1/4 strength nutes.

Yep, high Nitrogen for vegging.
