Hi Everyone,

I have just started my first grow a few weeks back i germed 4 Bubblegummer, 1 Vanilla Kush and 1 Lemon skunk anyway planted them in biobizz all mix soil in 2ltr pots. Its now been 2 weeks today since i planted them and 3 of the bubblegummer are doing well the lemon skunk not to bad and 1 bubblegummer and the vanilla kush had a bad start dont no whathappened i think the light 600w was abit to close and burnt them abit, i have a fan blowing over the plants to keep it cool now they have started to show abit more life in the last couple of days but look abit weird hopefully they will be ok. I have been watering with plain tap water for 2 weeks my ph and ec meters have just arrived this morning so will be ajusting the ph between 6.3 and 6.8 now no nutes yet though.

I no i am going to run into problems being my first time grow so hopefully you guys will help me out abit any help will be much appreciated like i said 2 of my plants had a bad start.

...your problem may lie within your tap water.
... never give your plants tap water that hasn't been dechlorinized. Set your water out for 24 hours, the chlorine kills microbes....I would also suggest you make your waterings slightly acidic.
... learn the ec/tds of your tap before you decide to use it, anything 350 or higher, I would use filtered water.

...your foilage looks to be heat/light stressed (edges curling)...you've done right by lifting the light....I personally use 6500 Kelvin fluorescent lights for your veg, works great....keeps your temps in check.

Cheers for your input trichome fiend i have just watered my plants now with slightly warm water ph 6.5 and ec was .2 just tested my tap water left for a day and i was feeding them ph7.5 before i got my ph tester. not given any nutes yet, temps are always between 25 and 28 degrees humidty is abit low 28-35% during day i thought that might be causing leaves to shrivel and curl abit. In the future i will buy a 400w mh for veg i will be buying and upgrading my kit as the weeks go buy you learn from mistakes dont you buddy hopefully get of to a better start next time round lol.

Hi everyone just an update with pics. So been nearly 4 week on saturday since i planted these seeds had abit of a problem with 2 my dog it decided to have a munch on my leaves whilst i was getting some water for them (i have learn`t my lesson now) on 1 of my bubblegummers it hate all the leaves apart from the stem which still had some new grow coming through so i topped it and its grown back nicely, my dog also decided to move onto the next plant and ate abit off it but not to much anyway i decided to top 2 of my other bubblegummers as well and all have recovered well, the lemon skunk is starting to look ok but my vanilla kush as always been the weakling of the bunch and still is im hoping its going to strenghen up abit time will tell. temps between 24-27 in day humidity is in the 40-50%. having abit of problem with my leaves wilting late in the day not sure if its heat related have given them a small feed if biobizz gro .70ec and they responded well only fed them once so far. Enough talking heres some pics please dont comment on my temps being abit low light only been on 10 min..
