Hey well i have just began to be interested in growing this year. I think it wil save alot of money. I started off germinating about 20 seeds and planted 16 only 6 survived. Im trying to keep it hidden so right now its in a small place untill i get some bigger lights i only have 2 clip type light right now. a few of the plants grew pretty tall but started to fall over so i buried them up to there first leaves. Now a few more are getting bigger and the second set of leaves are growing from the original first two laves that show. should i replant these deeper also?

i hate to be the dick, but you need to have a proper setup, lights and space before you can start a decent operation.

I have my plants 2 per 5 gallon bucket with soil as my growing medium.

give a picture of what you have for a better reference

ya man.. 16 plants is a pretty big set up for 2 clip lights...you need to get crackin on what you're going to do or give us more info.. like do you have other lights?
I see guys busting 2 plants on a few CFLS and wonder.

Naw man i only have 6 plants growing some didnt make it. i took some pics im bout to put on here. Im waiting on a friend to give me some bigger lights then i plan to switch up my set up. The reason its not an awesome set up is because im growing it in a building and i still live with my parents and i have to keep it hidden. But hold on and the pics will be up there only about 2 weeks old

That's a pretty low ratio for survival, sounds like you may have several problems before those plants mature -if they mature. They probably stretched due to those clips lights, give them more light with better coverage. Having to bury them and/or doing frequent transplants and adjustments will add to the poor health of your plants. Just stay on these forums, do more reading rather than writing and you should be successful.

Very nicely said for a Moe with only 48 posts .. I think that more than deserves my rep+ and I think I just may request a gentleman like you to join my friends list.

just some regular potting soil from walmart and also my friend has these miracle grow spike that you put in the soil do you think it would b ok to use them or no....plz keep in mind this is my first time even attemptin..and so you think i should raise the light some?

Keep any ferts away from those plants for a couple weeks, if that soil is new it should have enough nutrients to get them through the next few weeks.
Also what wattage bulbs are those?? I find I can do pretty well with a single 75-100 watt bulb about 12 inches above the pot, and try to keep as close to an 18on 6off schedule.
And finally, keep them pretty moist, if you have good drainage holes it would be near impossible to over water.... they have very small roots and don't penetrate very deep so if you let the top inch or 2 dry out the plant will suffer.

the bulbs dont have that many watts thats why i had them kinda low. i will try to pick up some higher wattage bulbs very soon. but my plan is to take a larg 2x6x10 board and drill a flourecent light fixture under it for two four four ftt lighs and set it up to look like a shelf behind my couch in the building. Then run two boards down the side one permanent on the side that my parents have stuff near incase they would happen to need to get anything. and then the other should have a hinge where i can open and water and everything.
