First Time DWC

I am helping a friend set-up a room and need some input.


-6x5 room

-2x600 w HPS/MH Air Cooled

-6 in fan

-12 5gal buckets (legal for 12)


vegging 4 weeks

Flowering hopefully around 60 days


1)With this set-up would it be reasonable to expect 5 oz per plant

2) How big i.e how long can you veg in 5 gal before it size becomes an issue?

That's going to be a shit load of manual labor bro, which isn't a bad thing i suppose.

1. Depends on grower skill, i would say yes if your buddy is decent.

2. Flower before the plant is 2 feet, which is my opinion, i wouldn't let it go more than 2 1/2 feet max before flower.
