I am new to this forum, so hello everyone!
I used to grow few years ago, when there was no talking about CFL's or LED's. I used to have 80x80x180cm (31.5"x31.5"x6') cupboard conversion grow box, 1-4 plants, standard soil with perlit, bio humus, water, using 600W HPS. Results were always great, with massive yield every time.
Now I want to grow 1-4 plants in a bit smaller grow tent 60x60x160cm (23.5"x23.5"x5.2'), using aeroponic system, and CFL lights.
I thought about using one 250W or 300W blue light bulb for vegetation. Is this enough for my four plants? How far away should I place it from my plants. I want them to get quite big, not even very tall, but quite bushy, so I can train the branches (LST).
Should I use 250W red spectrum CFL for flowering too? Or should I use 2 or 3 of them? How does it work? Or maybe I should change for 600W HPS when flowering?
Some good advices and tips about aeroponics, nutrients would be very welcome too.
