First time bubble grower needs input on simple questions

Hello bubble heads! to start I'll give some background, I've done about 7 soil grows outdoors and I'm sick of the amount of time it takes to get a decent harvest. I have been reading everything I can on bubbleponics and I think I have found a possible set up for my end goal. Any input or advice, even alternative solutions would be greatly appreciated, I'm thinking of starting in the bubbleponics multi-spectrum box and moving the plants prior to beginning flowering by maybe 3 weeks into DWC buckets; so my questions are as follows.

1. How involved, difficult and or problematic or even bad for the plant is it to move from a starter kit into a bucket?

2. I'm planning on using the multi-spectrum lighting kit on both the starter kit and buckets as well as four of the dual spectrumII' one on each side of the grow spaces is this overkill for 4-6 plants?

3. How can I figure out exactly how much power the above mentioned lighting will use as well as the two bubble set ups?

4. Is it easier to go into a DWC box as opposed to the buckets?

Im a little confused about needing to move the plants, but it wont hurt them too much. My plants sometimes stall when I first move them from the cloner into a true dwc bucket, but after they have good roots, like when I move them from the veg room to bud, they don't seem stressed at all. Occasionally two plants roots will grow together and get tangled before I can move them into bud. Pulling a few roots off or even cutting them away from each other still wont hurt the plants much at all, or at least not the strains i've grown.

It's hard to get too much light, as long as the heat generated can be removed. Your plants tops will get a bleached look if there is too much. Best thing is to purchase a light meter to be sure. Also consider that light is only one constraining factor. In other words, it doesn't matter how much light you have if your other factors (Co2, humidity, nutes, ect) are not dialed in... your light will have the same ceiling as your lowest constraining factor.

For power consumption, figure out what you pay per kilowatt hour, figure your total watts, and figure your hours of use. One kilowatt hour is 1000 watts used for one hour. So if I pay $1 per KWH, and I run one 1000wt light for 1 hour, I owe $1.

I do not know the diff between a DWC box and bucket, sorry

Good luck and one last thing I can say is, with DWC keep an eye on your roots. Keep the res cool and very well oxygenated or you might trigger a round of root rot or even the dreaded 'brown slime algae'. I have learned, with DWC, prevention of root problems is key, it's a long difficult process to cure. I will also include, since it took me months and months to learn this, that if root problems do come up, running a res with beneficial microbes is far far better than trying to add sterilizing agents and keep a lifeless res. Displace the bad with good.

I guess I left out a piece of that question, does anyone know the real wattage of the dual spectrum II bulbs because I know the multi-spectrum light box is 315 watts so I need to know the wattage of that bulb to get any farther in that equation.

As for why move the plants, as some people might know and I have read and come to understand the bubbleponics box is a good place to start plants however from everything I've read and from each grow I've done in soil the space that the bubbleponics box provides is just far too small to let a plant really flourish, so moving to a much larger space for the roots to continue to grow as well as to give the whole plant more "breathing" room.

Ahh okay, I was just not familiar with the terminology. I do the same thing.... cuttings go into a bubble cloner, 20 at a time. Once rooted they go into the 2gal veg tubs, 8 per tub. When they move to bud they get put in 6gal tubs, 4 per tub. I guess there all just tubs/buckets to me. Anyway, moving them from tub to tub wont hurt the plant.
