i read somewhere that if you cut the lower leaves that they dont lose so much water and gives roots better chance of growing here is a pic when they were about 2 days old my babies took about 11 days to show root in the humidity dome, some where slower than others i tried to vary how i cut them too see if i would get different results

The leaves are cut so that the clones don't have so big leaves or too many leaves to support while having reduced ability to take up water with no roots yet.
My bad, I thought those were already rooted clones. I would have stripped the stem of all leaves leaving just the top when I cut the clones. Like my clones in the link below. When they look like that, they are ready for nutes and into pots or hydro.
cool guys thanks for your help. will there not be enough neutrients in the new soil to tide them over for a bit i am not wanting to damage the new root system i was planning to introduce nutes gradually after a few days
