Bad, bad news. After a quick rearrangement of my setup I made a couple small mistakes that had devastating effects. The hood, which I had hung with chains above the AG base, fell directly onto my plant, breaking it in half. I nearly collapsed in disbelief and anguish. All that time nurturing and caring for that beautiful specimen was ruined and gone forever. By now it would have been on its way to harvest time, as it was really beginning to flower out. I'm totally flabbergasted and pretty dejected. However, I know where I went wrong and plan to start anew and do it right next time. SAD, SAD, SAD!!!

Bet your ass!!! I've got everything but a few minor things (pH tester, etc), so yeah definitely starting again very soon. The only thing holding me back is seeds. What I had going was the one seed out of a bag of some really high quality stuff. I've got others saved, but not so sure as to the quality. All I can do is try.
I can tell you though, I would have harvested a decent amount from that one plant, because I let it veg for about like 7 weeks before I initiated flowering and it got to be about 3 feet tall and was branched out all over. When said accident occurred there were flowers forming everywhere!!!

you were lucky, veg them for 7 weeks without using PH meter in an aerogarden lol.. my seed just sprout yesterday nd having problem balancing PH lately. Ar you gonna make a other thread when you start new project?

I'll certainly start a new thread. People have been helpful to me, like yourself, and if my info helps anyone else then that's all the reason I need. Good luck with yours and I'll be checking on it.
