Hey y'all, I just transplanted my clones for a SOG. How long do I have to let them veg before I flip to flower? Thanks!

Depends on the strain and grow space you have, that's all up to you man. i would leave them there a good 5 weeks. Scrog is like LST, the netting allows the top colas to bend under the screen creating space for the under colas to develop. All this lst plus topping can take a while so i say 5 weeks at least to get them nice and bushy for the flowering phase.

How big are your clones, what medium, what planter size, and what kind of lighting?

Sea of green is such a loose term , as allready asked what type clones are you running , not strain but are you running single cola clones with zero side branching , or are you running full plant clones .
If clones are single cola zero side branch then the answer is zero veg time , vegging will stretch the hell out of them & you wont get one big ass 2 ounce cola .
If your running full plant clones the answer lies within how many plants per sq ft .

Stupid questions? Jumpy? I was very clear in my post what I wanted to know. I'm used to running dwc.... FYI, I just pulled 2.2 lbs off a single plant with colas hard as rocks. I didn't ask you for input, nor did you offer any beneficial information. I might be new to a SOG grow, but that doesn't disqualify my ability to put out top shelf herb. Patrikkk, I wasn't being rude or anything of the sort, simply informing the fellow cultivator he misread my question. As far as a stupid question, there is no such thing. All questions are relevant. Go break up your brick and chill out.

Sunny, it wasn't meant for you.... I appreciate all of your input. I just have a real problem with people that invade a thread offering no assistance whatsoever. The time that guy spent typing his crappy remark could've been far more industrious. I didn't offer more info because I didn't feel it was necessary. I had a good idea how long I should veg, but I was curious to what others thought. This thread is done.
