First signs of flowering??

Afternoon / Evening / mornin(delete as apliccable), my white widow is about 5 weeks into veg and doing really well, all leaves are nice and green , no sgns of nute burn and new shoots are appearing dailly , however she's still in a 16/8 light cycle so flowering is not being forced yet, but I'm noticing a different style of shoot appearing now, normally the new sets of leaves look tight and have lits of leaf tips pointing upwards ( totally understandable), the new ones are like spikes and not as common, they look to me like parts of buds, but only 2 or 3 spikes netxt to where the branches stick out. iss now a good time to remove my clones and smaller plant and put her on a different light cycle? this question has probably been asked a thousand times already, I tried to take some pics but they are hardly noticable , I can up some blurred shots and you can try and squint, but I'm sure someone out there can point me in the right direction

PS she's under a 400w hps planta (extra blue spectrum bulb) in soil and fed on canna terra vega atm , just ordered some flora nutes and I'm looking into coco growing (picking some blocks , nutes etc etc in about an hour) as i hear rhe resullts are amazing

ps im on a 7" netbook and the mouse pointer keeps shooting off halfway up the text , so apologies for any spelling and randomness , i try and catch it but sometimes it escapes me WoW

If you go to google and click on the images tab, type in marijuana preflowers. It will give you a nice assortment of pics to compare your plants to. Female preflowers will be a pouch with a 2 hairs coming out. Yes you can clone, you should do some reading on what to take and how. There are videos on u tube and quite a bit of writing done on clones.

Cheers fella and it looks like I'm gonna be the father of a very healthy girl . . . . and if each one of the pistils is a bud . . . .. then I'm gonna have a good few weeks ahead of me , is now a good time to switch to full red and 12/12 my girl??

make sure- EXTRA sure your room is lightproof. You can go to 12/12 anytime. Mine will start their first lights out tomorrow. after 2 1/2 months veg. (took me a while to get my shit together.) They cannot get ANY light during the dark period. Read about green lights for emergencies. Congrats on the girl. Good luck.

cheers , and thanks for the heads up, will the b/w plastic be suffice to block out light or am i doing some more DIY tomorrow? I'm currently constructing a veg area so I might double skin & mylar the flowering area, just to be safe , Jorge Cervantes says moonlight is about all you can subject them to , so Im guessing a 60 watt lightbulb through the b/w is about that . . . . not that I mind some diy , especially if its for the (Quote G.W.Bush) "Greater good".
