Hmm I have to go to work so ill give as many details as possible real fast.

I forget which strains but i got 5 different kinds from seed. I ended up with 20 healthy plants.

Took me 3 friggin months to veg, i guess it was part of my learning process.

I built 2 4x4 carts, with a 1000 hps above each.

Some plants are doing better than others, but for the most part it all looks okay.

Here are pics, tell me what you guys think and what you think my yiel could be.

Notice how I left a decent amount of undergrowth, this is good right?

If you notice that the undergrowth is dying off then trim it out. Air circulation can be a problem. Plus, bud sites tha don't get enough light will not produce and full buds.

Best of luck nice sea of green.

Yeah i been trimming lots... leaves are dying and falling off quick. When I flipped i followed the rule of everything 6 inches below canopy lives.

I guess you're referring to the buds under the canopy but as for all the buds at top, im trying to push and bend leaves as much as possible to maximize light.

Nobody else has any comments??

need advice: will removing or halving leaves at the top to increase light on the lower parts of each stalk increase my yield or reduce it in the long run?

have a question for any experienced growers out there:

I accidentally snapped a main branch last week while trying to even out my canopy. Te wound hasnt healed, I guess i didnt support it properly.

I noticed that the branch looks okay though (leaves and buds arent dying), but the entire plant is lagging behind on budding.

Should I kill the branch?

Hey Mao! Wonderful looking canopy you have there, i really dig the long veg! looks like you did an excellent job training! As far as the branch that broke, its inevidable when scrogging, your going to have a branch break here and there, i always just leave it, it always heals with a big knuckle where the break was. As far as the under growth, its always better to remove everything thats not getting light, its better to have it nice and dry under there, this way you have air movement, keeping the RH down, also you want all the energy going to the buds up top, you dont want to waste energy and food on something thats not going to be smokable! Very Nice +Reps!~

Its always better to tuck! if you feel a fan leaf is compromising:leaf: a bud, you can cut it in half, possibly remove it later!

I wouldn't remove your precious solar panels. SCROG grows are meant usually to get a bunch of colas, not lower buds.

Well im at about 4.5 weeks now. I did some selective trimming at canopy and of course lots of cleaning of undergrowth.

I will probably clean the rest of the undergrowth next week.

As for that branch on that plant, well earlier this week i snapped another branch on the same plant! Its this damn sativa growing so tall so i was trying to pull the branches back.

The first branch was never supported properly and never really healed so i decided today to take it off. Hopefully the other branch will heal fast and the plant can resume flowering. Ill get some pics of the plant in question later.

Couple of pics attached.
