4 weeks from a good sized cutting. Or 6 ish weeks from seed. Just a guess. 8 weeks can be pretty big depending on medium and conditions

Also thats a big pot for that kind of space. I would suggest no bigger than a 7 gallon considering the short veg required. I think 5 gal would be perfect. Unless you want some kind of no-till in the 13

I agree with pulpoinspace let her fill up the space as much as you can but still leave enough room for the vertical jump and remember you can always top it.

The SCROG is just to make your plants grow out instead of up.

You need to veg till they fill the space. There is no set time limit. If you have tops that are poking through while others are below, then you need to push those tall tops out to the edge to equalize the height of the plant.

I'd guess you still have about 10-15days left to fill that SCROG in...

I vegged 8 weeks from seed and regret it. The purple trainwreck is/was constantly trying to grow into the light and my tent is 8' tall. 6 weeks would be the most I would do from seed if trying to manage space.
I might be in that predicament, I heard the Velvet Bud strain likes to grow tall as well.

What lights did/do you use, what wattage/ft2?

6 x 288 QB w/lm301b diodes
2x Meanwell HLG-320H-c2100b driver

Got them cranked to around 60% on a 50k ohm potentiometer. I don't know the math, but the plants love it. In the Purple Trainwreck's case, maybe a little too much.

Dam lol was hoping you were using a crappy light and they were stretching for it but sounds like that's not the case. How tall was the TW before the flip?

The plants will continue to stretch after flip. Train wreck will probably double in height.

You need to leave a bit of room in your net to tuck in the stretch growth into the net as part of the scrog. Otherwise it gets really goofy with variable height. You want them to kind of all pop the flower up in the net at the same time so the canopy is as even as it can be. If you let some of the bud sites get longer than others its a pain in the ass jungle in there :D.

I set my net really short this time around. I want to see if i can maintain it low and adjust light height as needed. My tent is short but it is indica heavy so they should only stretch about 50% to 75%. I use silica and really abused the stems of the main split and then topped them a couple of times and will flip Jan 1 and see what happens.

From this point i have 3 to 7 days to flip but its happening jan 1.

7 1/2 oz of frosty buds and 2 oz of larf with a timber 2VL in 3500 k (200 watts). It went great. I might be able to top it out at a solid 10 oz if i really lollypopd the buds but i am very pleased with the result.

I could run these 2 tents perpetually and have roughly 3 to 4 oz a month harvested forever... Great for a small space.
Light 300
Tent 100
Scrubber and fan 200
700 dollars and then seeds pots and dirt. Possible to get 2 pounds a year roughly out of the tent.

OCS is 10 dollars a gram. The 208 grams of buds cost 2080 plus tax and delivery.

Not too shabby

:)

The critical mass topped out at 18 inches tall on top of the pot. :D the King tut i am running now hit 26 but i raised my light and have 12 inches to tops with the 5 foot 3 tent.

You can doooo eeeeet in a short space. Late this year my grow journal will astound! I am getting a 6 x 13 foot flower room and a 3 x 6 veg room. So 4 plants will be monsters. I think i need more coco

The tent was in inches 20 x 36 x 63 exactly 5 square feet. I have 2 of them and wanted to see what i could grow in this space. Then i got a place that has a space that is 13 x 6 but its only 5 foot 6 tall. It was providential to learn the small tents....

And it proves i am right. You can grow 1 X your square footage to 2X if you nail it....

:D
