I've had grape ape from a co op, it was really good... are you doing anything with your nighttime temps to promote purple?

Yeah im trying to get it as cold as possible without hurting the baby. Its 73-75 durring the day and at night time it gets as low as 60 and usually is around 60-65 max, last night it got as low as 59 but that worried me, however the plants did just fine, have any advice?

How are you controlling temps? I am only using T5's now (excited to be moving to a place where I can hoop up my HPS) so during the last few months I've had to run a heater, what I do is put the heater on the timer so that it kicks on when the lights do, I keep my room around 76. At night when it was 30 out side it dipped down to 60, I got worried and put the heater back on full time after a week because the one plant that I had in there that turns purp was close to finish (the rest still had 5-8 weeks when my Dynamite was 3 weeks from done).

When I get a bigger setup I'm going to invest in a more automated system using a thermostat and all. I'm going to be starting some Deep Purple seeds next month, so interested in getting some deep purple coloring.

Im just lucky that its around 50-60 at night were i live qand i have a fan blowing on the at all times...its covered in mylar all around so a lot of heat get traped in so when the fan is blowing on the babies with the lightg on wits around 73-75. and at night i ;leave the fan on and its around 60 in thre grow room with the fan on and no lights
