i have two plants about 2 1/2 feet tall in pots they have some small buds on them and smell pretty good. do you think if i planted them in bigger pots they would still have some time to grow bigger and produce more? what is the best month in the year to plant outside in the ground?

You would definitely see an improvement if you gave the roots more room to stretch. what size pots are they currently in? if they are in anything under 5 gal. then i suggest a transplant into a bigger container. i plant mine outside around march 25. but in FL you can plant them outside as early as february 1st. i suggest wating til mid march though because of the rapidly shifting weather patterns down there.

well right now they are in pretty small buckets maybe 1/2 gallon but i actually just put them in bigger pots hoping it wont be to late and maybe gain some more bud. the pots that i just put them in are about 1 1/2 gallons. when i trans plant should i have spread the roots out any or just left them how they were?

nope, try to touch them as little as possible. and i would get bigger pots as well. 1.5 gallons wont do them much justice. i suggest 5 gallon buckets. and they will definitely increase in yield if they arent choking themselves under the soil
