First official grow

Hey RIU. Been snooping for about 3 years soaking up as much knowledge as possible and now I feel like I have a grow worthy enough to be made into a journal. Currently on day 44 of flower are(all fem seeds through Sea of Seeds)) 1- Vanilla Kush, 1- Bubba Kush, 1 Blue Widow,and (reg seed freebie) 1 Kandy Kush. the first three are in rockwool cubes in hydroton in a container as you will soon see in the pics. they get fed through an automatic drip about for times when lights are on. The KK is in a GH waterfarm 24/7 drip with a res in where the roots get constant nutes and water. I am using a 600w sun system HPS and my nutes are GH flora series. I have to add that with this group I had to abandon them for a few weeks at their previous location but I took all my equipment. well when the heat cleared and I was able to setup a more secure garden I was surprised to find out that out of the 12 seedlings I had these four survived with care from a friend who used a single 24w 2ft t5 ( he did some research on RIU and topped the KK) . after about 2 weeks of veg with proper lighting and nutrients these babies kicked into full gear.. so I flipped the lights on em. 44 days later they VK BK and BW are a nice size and are budding very nicely and taking the nutes very well....the Kk on the other hand is showing some very sativa traits and is taking so long to veg and was very tall and bushy due to the topping. Unfortunately I had to cut quite a few tall main colas because they were reaching well past the light and into the light as well. I have the space to move the light up but simply cant because the other three plants were already further from the light than they should have been. I have money problems so I cant afford an exhaust system and its affecting the 3 small girls the most, brown rusty leaf tips. the temps reach 92degrees and I only have two tiny fans that blow underneath the reflector hood. I just don't have any money for it right now.. I know it might have some affect on my bud but they are almost done buds are tight plenty of trichs, very resinous and each with its own unique smell. feels so surreal at times when I smoke and walk in my garden. well im in my veg room as I write this and decided I will make a separate journal on that tomorrow when I upload pics for this grow. Thanks to everyone who unknowingly gave me the knowledge and inspiration to do what I love. feel free to comment and post similar pics(setup, strains, 600w). All suggestions are welcomed.

Awesome man, can't wait for pics. I agree on your comment about the "surreal feeling" when you walk in your garden. It is awesome to know you brought life to something so valuable and needed.

Good morning....well I snapped a couple of photos they are not so good. just goes to show im still a noob. The only camera I have is the one on my laptop so its pretty difficult. I will practice with the piocs and post better ones soon. Can someone explain to me how I can post my journals in my sig? I will do a search first but any help is appreciated. First 2 pics are of the VK BK and BW. the tallest one closest to the camera is the BW the one on the left against the wall is the VK and the shortest one is the BK. the 3d and 4th pic are of the KK and its fat ass stem. promise better ones next itme

Just a quick update......the girls seem to be fattening up for the home stretch and I seem to have the temps to a more tolerable level. I should be able to get another fan in there by tomorrow and that should lower it some more. will post pics in the morning. peace

blessed with a nice sized closet to grow in and an extra room If I needed it but I have to deal with shitty gang violence outside, shootings every week, kid got killed the other day less than 2 blocks from my home. truly a shame, but until it gets better I will take advantage of the cheap rent. I'm hoping to get as many growers to check out my grows so that I can learn as much as possible, this is something I am truly passionate about and because I live in a non mmj state it feels good to be able to talk to someone who grows....im sure some people here feel the same.
