The main girl you see is my lowryder, shes 34 days old today, I didnt transplant her in time, so she stunted , shes growing a little bit more but not much. The other 5 are all 5-6 days old. They are all tiered in 3 Gal Smart Pots. The Cab they are in has 4 veg CFL's 23 watts each on each side so there's a total of 8 and there's a 400HPS above them. I'm running 24/0. Using FFOF and FF Nutes. Giving mollases with every watering. And all water is PH'd and Oxygenated for 24 hrs with pump and airstone before they are givin it. The cab is 3x3x6, I have a small oscilating fan, a vent cut out on back right bottom, exhaust is a 500cfm inline duct fan going to a charcoal filter. I just transplanted all these yesterday into the 3 Gal smart Pots. Today I noticed my temp guage said it was 92 degrees in there, thats at the surface of the soil. There's no way its that high. What can I do to lower temps, Humidity is staying around 42 percent. They all look healthy but a daily watering is needed, between the heat and the soil being dry itself its a constant thing to keep them moist. Being this is my first official grow, I need as much help as I can get..........I cant switch to 18/6 being the bigger lowryder has been on 24/0 since it sprouted, but even though the younger plants are on 24/0 can I switch to 18/6 for them when they are 4 weeks??? Maybe that would cut down on heat a bit. Then any new sprouts I would just keep on 18/6 from the time they sprout, right?

best thing is have an air-cooled light, but replacing your light can be expensive. Keep giving the stunted one some time. All you can do is wait. Either it'll work out in time or it won't. All the others look nice and green but still way early man.

regarding watering with soil you usually only water every 3-4 days unless it's crazy hot which would be a problem you want to resolve anyway. If you water as often as every day (especially this early on) you're definitely overwatering them which will without a doubt stunt them to some extent. And also further prevent the already stunted one from healing.

Aside from better air flow and air cooled lights you can add a portable ac unit. And also use co2. That increases the temperature that your plants can withstand being comfortable and also helps them grow. Some good links to affordable co2 in my signature.

Thanks for the reply weedy, I only been watering when the soil is dried out a couple inches down. Just went over to the site when I opened the Cab it said 39% Humidity and 91 degrees. Just put the oscilating fan from low to med see if that helps at all. I have the fan under them blowing through the wire shelf. As you can see they did get a bit bigger overnight. So basicaly I should wait until they are totaly dried before watering???? I have an oscilating fan for circulation, a 500 cfm inline duct fan hooked up to a filter for exhaust, and a vent cut out in bottom back for intake

Well, at 91 degrees you might have to water everyday. Because they're so small you're probably not watering too much so they are drying out quickly. And the heat's helping that.

Anyway, just keep testing with your finger for best time to water. But 91 degrees is too hot to sustain a decent crop. You can do it, but it won't come out great. Maybe try pointing the fan directly at the 400hps cuz that's the source of heat. See if you can find a used portable ac unit for sale. New they're $300 so maybe used you could find one for under $100. That's what I always used until I got central air. Central air kicks ass, but the rest of my place would be freezing!

At the beginning I'd be more wary about letting them go completely dry. But once they get a little bigger they NEED to dry out. It gives the roots a chance to breathe. Also, prevents rotting.
