The girls were very ill for the first few weeks. My impatient, obsessive mind spent hours upon hours posting pictures and scouring the net trying to figure out why these once healthy clones were dying.

CO2 level were hovering around 4,000 PPM after the room was sealed for 6 hours or so. This was the main indicator. It was determined that my soil had not cooked properly and that the microherds had not established their populations yet as the soil was mixed and cooked for 30 days in 40-45 degree temperatures. Due to the soil being immature and being introduced to higher temperatures in the rooms, the bioligcal activity was kickstarted. CO2 emission is a byproduct of creating a living soil environment.

I am not entirely sure it was the co2 levels that caused the damage to the plants, but I attributed everything to the soil being too hot and out of balance. As time went on, the plants adapted and blew up with new life. I lost 4 of the CD/SS crosses and 2 of the cookie cross. Pics attached are of the sick plants.

Looking really there. Did you build the planter yourself?
The planters are geoplanters. I did build the 4x8 rolling platforms they’re on though. I can literally slide the whole soil mass and trellis all over the room with minimal effort. 2 4x4 oil drum pallets sourced locally from used pallet yard, 2 pressure treated 4x4’s, 2 pressure treated 2x4’s, decking screws PT approved, 8 5” HD caster wheels 1000 lbs capacity each, 3/8” lag screws w/ washers to fasten wheels.

Run a 4x4 next to a 2x4 through both pallets, therefore joining them into a single 4x8 pallet. Use PT approved decking screws to fasten the lumber together where you can access it. Attach lag screws to your now combined lumber on 4 corners of each 4x4 pallet, totaling 8 wheels. Pics attached. Will be doing a 4x4 one to keep my 4 20 gallon mom’s mobile in my veg room too.

Beginning of week 3. Added second layer of trellis. May eventually need a 3rd for the Chemdawg cross in the back!

Following PGT’s recommended lighting schedule this go around to see how the strains behave. Next cycle, I’ll definitely be messing with the red spectrum during initial flower weeks to manipulate stretch vs node stacking based on strain.

Day 32. Biochem has absolutely exploded. Cookiepuss (see last post) is lagging behind a bit with regards to fattening up, but it is rumored that this is normal genetic expression and that she’s a “late bloomer”.
Lookin damn good!!!

You using the EV700? What did they cost?

Thanks for the info. Any reason in particular you chose these over spydrx? Just wondering cause theyre about the same price point
The Spydr’s don’t have spectral tuning. I can adjust the intensity of red, pure white, and blue white spectrums individually with these. All the spydr has is a dimmer.
