First LowStressTraining grow under CFL's

Hey there,

I have been growing for about a year now and gotten 3 harvests out of it.

It's a closet grow up so space is clearly a factor in how much, how big and how many plants I can have. Being an engineer student (kinda sticks with you in your problem solving area) I was trying to maximize the yield, number of plants and how tall i could produce them. Later I figured that "tall" is not an option nor a problem.

I stumbled upon the LST (low stress training) and I figured that could do the trick. I am growing under 1 x 125W CFL (red spectrum) and 1 x 23W CFL (red) just to cover the edge in a very small space (60x40x100cm or appr. 2.5 sq.ft and 3 feet vertical)

Anyway, the LST is working wonders in my closet. The buds and colas are growing like wild and the side branches are reaching up and look almost like the main cola.

I just wanted to post this thread for some of you that are having the same problem I had, that is space problems. Some pic's from early stages and some from 4weeks into 12-12 period are shown below.

Any questions regarding how to do LST are welcome, but remember you can always google it for more detailed descriptions (as i did).

Thanks...
This has been kind of a trial and error thing. As you can see on one of the pic's, a stem just snapped when i was bending it (plant in the background, upper left corner). It never recovered from that so i had to get rid of it, a shame but necessary.
