First LED diy, failed :(

Hey, I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Some of the LEDs won't light up. I used push connectors, I'm thinking of soldering everything together instead.

Any idea or tips why it's not working and what I can do to fix it?

I don't really like how messy the wiring is, I'm going to go now pick up a couple pieces of angle aluminum and bolt the strips together.

ok - thought there could be some damage to the boards where they were screwed into the frame (or maybe from any rough parts on the frame)

some of the holes in the board are by the traces (picture from brahbbyB in the Bridgelux EB Series Build thread):

doesn't look like a wiring issue otherwise nothing would light up as it looks like all are in series.

maybe try the connectors at the other end of the board (but I don't see why that would make a difference).

I actually did already try connectors on the other side, I'm not sure actually if the next step is for me to contact Bridgelux.

I'm kinda surprised how they shipped, they came in a 2' x 2' box and they were bent into a U shape. They are rigid so I thought that wasn't possible - but hey they obviously sell a lot of strips so they must know better...

Faulty strips, nothing you can do will make any difference, send em' back...........EDIT, or possibly underpowered? would seem a little strange to get 4 faulty strips, unless they're reject stock

They can't be underpowered.

44.22v each x 4 = 176.88v
Driver provides 107-215v
