hey guys...
im working on my first indoor grow and i would like to top off my plants. my plants are 2.5 weeks old.
As you see in the bigger circle in the pic...is that what i wanna cut off and remove...and remove it with precision at the smaller circle?

Or should i wait longer and not top it yet? i read somewhere that this was a good time.

 I just wanna ask before i go cutting my plants lol it cant hurt to ask.

I would wait until they have 4-6 node's.Or another 2-3 weeks.I topped one that size and ended up with basically nothing.Good luck.

That's all i needed to hear. Someone with personal experience..to gimme a direct answer. Thanks alot!

Or you can FIM the plant which is my prefered method.
I never heard of the FIM Method. I did a quick google search and its an interesting method. But when i do something like that won't I need to string the plants up...due to the weight?

Yes you will need to tie up some branches but that is very easy to do.

yea i thought i would. this is my 1st indoor grow...and i used bag seeds to get a "test run" on my indoor conditions n stuff...even though i read alot of books and seen several movies on indoor growing I'm still learning as i go...

but yea, tying the plants up is no biggie. But to be honest i think I'm just gonna stick to topping the plants, due to the size of the space I'm using. Ill probably top it 3 or 4 times (I'll see how plant growth is as i go)

Im hoping i get a nice yield. I got 9 plants now (dunno the sex of them yet) and im hoping for atleast 5 females. What do u think my max yield on 5 plants that have been vegged for 2.5 months? Check my grow journal for info
