so i started my first indoor grow about 2 weeks ago

i removed the little cup in the middle!!! it was some kind of experiment!
i use two fluoro 18" grow tubes( that i place about 2 inches from tops of the plants) and three cfls above those! all the lights are in a reflector i made myself

so far every thing seems to be going ok, but they havent seemed to get any taller in the past 3 days. all this is in a wooden closet. i am using a heating pad to keep it all warm but how do i get the right humidity and what is a good temp???

thanks all who replies!!!

72-82 is good 75-77 is ideal and just fill up a gallon jug and leave in the cap off in the room next to your plants you have an awesome lighting system by the way... and what are you growing?? keep us updated with the grow :)

the soil is only dry about 3 or so inches down i dont want to over water them
when i use my moisture meter it reads that its pretty moist a few inches down do you think i should spray the tops of the soil a little bit
by the way these are just bag seeds, but i got some pretty good stuff over the summer with the same seeds outside

well the roots on your plants should be down a few inches..but you can give them a light spray on the top

it looks prety dry i would think it was dry lower but he has the plant
i know if my soil got that dry on top it is dry below

it is better to give one good water than several small ones
