First Harvest

Wll, I harvested one Orange Bud, one Ice and one Shiva plant 4 weeks ago yesterday.4 days hang dry, 3 days paper bag dry, 3 weeks cannister cure...last night they were officially ready to smoke. I yielded 144 grams dry from 3 plants....first grow (of 4 going at once). 400w HPS AN 3 part veg, AN 3 part+ carboload, big bud, overdrive for flower. 25 gal ebb & flow.
The orange bud smells like faint cat piss.....and when you grind it the smell is like a "fucking orange grove gone over ripe" (according to my florida born wife)...it is strong and stings the nostrils. The taste is like cherry and hash with citrus twinge. Very sweet. The high is like a strong mids...not too overpowering. I harvested mostly cloudy and there is a definite edginess to the high....very social/chatty.
The Ice is very "white" smelling...much like rhino & widow I've had. It is fairly strong of skunk. The taste is decidely like grape kool aid to me...I may be crazy but the wife and neighbor agreed it was there. Also, your traditional white weed bite. STONED and rubbery is how I felt.
The shiva (free bonus seed from 420 seeds) are very sandalwood smelling and taste like pine wood. Odd aroma and flavor. Very dense buds...sticky and sugary with round calyx. Heavy smoke. STONED high. I smoked a jay at 11 last night and was asleep by 11:05......great dreams and awoke fresh. Curious to try more.
All in all...they are very good, and I owe alot of my success to this forum. Thanks much!!
Also...I am just curious...not else.......but I am currently on week one of my first white widow cure, and I wonder if anyone else has noticed this....it smells EXACTLY like Heineken while curing. I even held both side by side. I know the smell will change (it sure did on my 1st cure) and all, but has anyone else ever said that their widow smelled of Heineken while curing????
Sorry so long winded...did an orange bud jay and am pretty zippy and slippy.

Will post pics soon....they are on other comp.:peace:
