i currently growing 3 plants 1 of them turned hermie and starting failing after so i pulled it.. anyways i need help drying how long and how like in a box or air dry hanging ..where i live its dry and hot help me out. maan thanks

Hang them on a clothes hanger in dark closet with fresh air or circulating air, check daily normaly 5 days. Careful when feeling them for dryness. Want even better Smoke, Cure it for another 5 -7 days way better high and way better taste after 30 days.

well i plan on cruing but i dont want all the moisture to lose ..for 1 day they started getting crispy on the ouside wil they dry too fast?

Get a digi thermometer with a humidity gauge. The humidity in the room is THEE MOST IMPORTANT THING DURING DRYING. 45%-55% is ideal. Drying in a bathroom is the easiest since the humidity can be controlled very easily- just letting a hot shower run.

Btw, this should have been in the harvesting/curing forum. The FAQ had this information in it as well. GROWFAQ

Yes. If the humidity isn't high enough, the buds will dry out crispy and fast. The taste and smell will be leafy/grassy...

they got that leafy grass smell i dont want it lol .. what can i do the room its in is dry has fans blowing too what would be ideal for this help asap please

The fan running is only going to dry them out quicker right now.. you need to get moisture back in the air so the buds can regain moisture..

so no fan? i put some buckets of water in the room. where i live humidity is 8% soo i would have to make it

i have an old 80's vicks type vaporizer.. i can just put water and create steam would this do the trick???

any ideas or advice would be great!!! :roll:

Yup. the steamer would be perfect- I usually use a hot shower, same concept tho..

Keep the fan away for right now, the humidity is critical..

I hate seeing someone spend months to grow their crop- just for it to turn into crispy grass tasting weed..lol. good luck man.

It might be the best solution to alter the humidity but since its his first harvest i wouldnt complicate it too much. take that bud, hang it in a box and place the box in a dark room. In maybe 3-4 days you should be good to go and place the bud in some airtight jars.
This way theres less to worry and mess up and hell know the basics by the time his real plants finish.

First grow both best sacks of mids ive gotten.my...My first plant ended up a hermie as you see in first thread same plant but pulled him weeks before these..one finished earlier than the other one..used only 250 watts of cfl light my yield per plant was about a quarter each not much but this is my first grow..i just got some clones going too so hopefully second time ill get more buds!!! :mrgreen:
