Correct if wrong only if you have the knowledge to correct. (I have not done this personally only because i use MH bulbs for nothing and have none) It is my understanding that in the last 2 weeks of flower it is better to use the MH bulb because of the light spectrum.. Now this information has been learned not proven by myself. If i were to do something small like that i would look into changing out the bulbs

i could be completely wrong, but it is my opinion that you are selling yourself short by not utilizing both ends of the usable light spectrum.... sadly, I'm one of the guys that sell themselves short... but i think a combo (constantly, not alternated) is the best way to go.....there's some really cool lights that combine a 400w mh and a 600w hps in the same hood/ballast that i would LOVE to get, but that will have to wait until funds will allow
Are you talking about dual arc bulbs, or two bulbs running under one hood?
