First grow40 days from seed. Thoughts?

Thanks. The plants do look good, but I was curious as to if the height and overall growth looked typical of a 40 day old plant from seed. I'm constantly researching and trying to make sure I'm on top of everything, and am sure I'm overthinking it all.
 
Look very good. By the pic, looks like you would want to keep them short so you don't run out of head room. They should double or triple in height once you flip them to flowering.

Good point, considering your head room in there, it looks like time to flip those to 12/12
 
Thanks for replies everyone. First grow and not really knowing the growth of these plants makes assessment a little tough. Tent height isn't an issue. Got the Gorilla with the extension already in place so it's 8ft.
I wanted to have 4-6ft flowering plants when it's time to harvest, but I'm not sure how much these will stretch and how much longer they would need in veg to do that. My goal was to harvest by early-mid July if I could. They say this is a 8 week flowering strain, but I'm adding 1-2 weeks to that. I'm trying for the best smoke and most weight I can get without any kind of training for this run so I can experiment with a SCROG next run.
 
Thanks ghgou812. I have a journal going in that section, but not too many people giving me feedback. I guess that's a good sign :clap:. I'll keep this post updated with pics , and let all you experienced growers chime in with whatever info you have.
 
If I were you I'd flip and remove lower growth until 2nd week of flower cause the 600 can only penetrate about 3ft, unless you like bunch of larf buds to make hash with.

If you need anything I'm glad to help as I run 4 6s or hop on over to club 600.
 
Giggles26, so 12" is a good height to flip over for the 600 then? I have a 600w Ushio opti red waiting to go in for flower. How much of that lower growth are you talking about removing? Thanks for the heads up in the light penetration. I don't want to waste time, money, and bulb life if it's useless. ANY tips are very much appreciated!
 
Personally, I leave everything on, take the lower "popcorn" bud and close trim to make oil or hash with. If you're into that it's a great way to utilize almost all of the plant band get some very nice concentrates, best sleeping pill ever invented :)
