First Grow

I built a 6'x6'x8' grow room. I am starting with 3 Chemdawg 4 clones. I am using Kellogg raised bed potting soil with added vermiculite for drainage. I have 5 T8 LED 24W full spectrum lights at the moment with plans on adding more light in the future. I am staying with LED for electricity and heat conservation reasons. They are 4 weeks old and starting to bush out a bit now. I am using Terra Cotta pots. Initially I was using aquarium water to water them, until I checked the pH, which was crazy acidic, so I stopped that and flushed the pots. I am still learning...lol. My tap water is at 6.8 pH, and is charcoal filtered, so I am going with that until I feel they need some more nutes. I have some orchid food I plan on using (already paid for and I already spent enough on permits and building materials). I have just topped them for the first time. I have one problem child, but it seems to be coming around. I do a lot of research on other forums to hopefully head in the right direction. I guess there is no way to post a pic from my computer, or I would put one up.

Welcome to RIU!
Here is a link to information on why it is a good idea to add a TDS meter to your arsenal.

need more light, looks like a kebab
I think I really set them back with the aquarium water, they are bushing out now. They dropped their lower leaves after they turned yellow, which is why I checked the water pH and discovered my mistake. They also had to deal with some heat, I need to get an evap cooler for the room, it got up to 90 a couple times, but cools at night. I plan on adding some 5000K LED lights shortly.

Lights are set to 18/6, have a 4" inline exhaust vent with charcoal filter and a filter on the return hole. New lights should be here by Tues, 4 4' LED 5000k, "3000 lumen" ea.

New lights are in, had to downsize my fixture because the first one I put together had worn out tombstones and the lights wouldn't stay in place. I have one more light strip I'll wire in to get 6 bulbs on my second fixture instead of 4 until I can get a couple more. Is it normal for a plant to start out with 3 leaves after topping?

Not sure what is up, I looked at the poster that shows deficiencies and I can't find anything that matches this. I am feeding them every 3rd watering, thoughts?

Picked up a portable swamp cooler today to up the humidity and battle the unending summer heat. Freezing some ice blocks and have a couple blue ice coolers also. Temps have gone up to 92 at times in my room.

Week 7.JPG Wk 7 nutes (3).JPG Week 7 from planting the clones. I just adjusted the nutes mixture to full strength, I think they want more nitrogen.
