Here goes my plants are a week and two days old there 2 super skunk seeds this is my first grow so just tryin to get to grips with things the plants have been under 2 20watt cfls feeding them nothing but ph 5.8 water at the min . They have been on 20/4 for the last 3 nights just wondering if i should start giving them low dose of formulex?

Will be following on in to a tent with 250 hps and debating if its best to veg on MH and flower hps

I would wait to start feeding nutes for at least a week or two, small plants can't take burning. I usually wait for the plant to be on it's 3rd set of fan leaves before adding. The soil you used to germinate and seedling stage should have most of the nutes your plant needs for the time being. What spectrum CFL's are you using? You should check and make sure they are 6500K spectrum for optimum veg. I grow on 6500k CFL's for veg and a 1000w Warm MH with 2700k CFL side lighting for flower (however I hear that HPS would improve yields, I haven't seen that MH for veg is much better then 6500k CFL's) I like the CFL's for veg because if you keep them very close (kinda time consuming) the plant seems to stretch less and I seem to get denser buds, when it finally goes to flower.

 go with a HPS for flower and you will get good results. i would wait till about 2 weeks after you repot before you feed, :bigjoint:

No 6500 is not lumens, '6500k' is spectrum of light. It stands for the kelvin degrees that the bulb simulates. Most CFL's you see are 2700k and not suitable for veg cycle. All bulbs should show 3 things, wattage - spectrum - lumens. If you can't find the spectrum move on, because it's pretty much 100% going to be 2700k

stopping by......I veg for 20/4...........got good results but I run DWC/Hybrid setup.......then I switch to 12/12 for flower obviously......best of luck!

It's all preference, I use 24-0 because my temperature and humidity is easy to regulate. Once the flower room get's lit up I may tone it back a bit because excess heat from the flower room with be getting fed into the veg room. You should spend a few hours looking through the stickies, I bet a lot of your questions will be answered.
